CARLSBAD–A 54-year-old motorcyclist was seriously injured Sunday in a traffic collision in Carlsbad, the Carlsbad Police Department said.
The collision occurred shortly before 11 a.m., at Tamarack Avenue just east of Edinburgh Drive.
Police officers found a motorcycle with moderate damage lying in the roadway on Tamarack Avenue along with a male that had suffered serious injuries due to the collision.
The motorcyclist, a Vista resident, was transported by fire department paramedics to a local area hospital.
The investigation into the cause of the collision is ongoing.
