El Cajon, CA–A man was arrested Friday morning on suspicion of setting a house fire in the unincorporated area of El Cajon, the San Diego County Sheriff’s Department said.
Shaun Maize, 44 was arrested on a charge of arson. He was booked at San Diego Central Jail.
The fire was reported around 11 a.m. in the 1900 block of Donahue Drive. The fire threatened neighboring homes, but San Miguel Fire and Rescue crew was able to gain control of the fire before it could spread.
There were no injuries reported.
Sheriff’s Department Bomb and Arson Unit is investigating the incident.
