OCEANSIDE–Oceanside police Friday arrested a man in connection with a stabbing incident inside a gas station convenience store in Oceanside.
The suspect, a black male, was taken into custody by Oceanside police officers, and booked at the Vista jail.
Shortly after 9:30 a.m., Oceanside police officers and Sheriff’s deputies responded to a physical altercation at the Arco station, located at Oceanside Blvd. and Melrose.
The victim suffered from a stab wound to the upper torso. He was transported to a local hospital, according to Oceanside police Lt. Kedrick Sadler. His condition is unknown.
The incident is under investigation.
