SAN DIEGO–Construction crews will close the northbound Interstate 5 (I-5) and Interstate 805 connectors to the local bypass lanes to restripe the roadway, according to Caltrans.
The work will take place on Thursday, March 28 from 11:30 p.m. to 5 the next morning
Access to the bypass lanes from Carmel Mountain Road will also be closed to traffic. The mainlanes of I-5 will remain open during the work.
Detour signs will direct northbound I-5 motorists from Carmel Mountain Road to continue onto El Camino Real to Carmel Valley Road to I-5.
Motorists headed to State Route 56 (SR-56) will continue on I-5, exit to Carmel Valley Road to SR-56.
