SAN DIEGO–Law enforcement officers throughout San Diego County were honored for their efforts and accomplishments in regards to the recovery of stolen vehicles. The 26th Annual Auto Theft Advisory Committee (ATAC) Awards Ceremony took place at The Prado Restaurant at Balboa Park in San Diego.
The recipients were recognized for their efforts in recovering stolen vehicles in San Diego County.
Combined, these 32 officers, representing almost every law enforcement agency in San Diego County, recovered 568 vehicles, valued at approximately $4,243,324.00 and arrested 138 suspects.
Each officer was awarded a plaque from the Auto Theft Advisory Committee. The overall top officer’s agency received a perpetual plaque.
