LEMON GROVE–Sheriff’s deputies are searching for an armed man who allegedly robbed a Jack-In-The-Box in Lemon Grove.

The suspect entered the restaurant, located at 7979 Broadway, jumped over the counter, pointed a black pistol at customers and employees, and demanded cash. He took money from the cash drawer, and fled from the business. The suspect got into a cream-colored sedan, with tinted back windows, which was last seen travelling southbound on Lemon Grove Avenue, said San Diego Sheriff’s Department spokesman Sgt. Jacob Klepach.

The suspect is described as a black male, about 6′ 02″ in height, with a  medium to heavy build, wearing a baseball cap, black and white bandana covering his face, grey hooded sweatshirt, with the hood up, and red flannel shirt, black gloves, and white pants,
