SAN DIEGO–Detectives are asking the public’s assistance in the location of a felon wanted on possession of firearms.

On January 9 at 7 a.m., Lance Rodgers fled from Sheriff’s detectives who had set up surveillance on a residence in the 1500 block of Fargo Avenue in ElCajon. During a search of the residence, detectives recovered firearms and evidence implicating Rodgers in a number of commercial and residential burglaries.

Probable cause exists for Rodgers’ arrest on charges of being a felon in possession of firearms.
