San Diego, CA–The Autism Society San Diego will wrap up Autism Awareness Month Saturday evening by hosting the 5th annual Lights! Camera! Autism! at the Comic-Con Museum in Balboa Park.

The event will feature an art exhibition with works by more than 25 autistic artists, a musical performance and a film presentation by Dani Bowman, an autistic woman who owns her own film production studio in Los Angeles and was recently featured on the Netflix series, “Love on the Spectrum.”

“Lights! Camera! Autism! is a showcase of brilliant, visual artists and filmmakers who happen to be on the spectrum,” said Executive Director Andrea Korogi. “The Autism Society is honored to host what will be a fun and enriching evening that celebrates incredible autistic artists across many genres.”

The event kicks off on April 29 at 6 p.m. at the Comic-Con Museum, located in Balboa Park in San Diego. Catering and floral décor will be provided by local businesses that employ autistic individuals.

Event tickets at $100 per person provide access to the art exhibitions, musical entertainment, appetizers, and hosted wine and beer bar. VIP Tickets at $125 per person elevate the evening’s experience with early access, special meet-and-greets, and a VIP reception with an expanded menu of specialty appetizers and signature drinks.
