SAN DIEGO–The Taste of Gaslamp, which is San Diego’s original and longest running culinary tasting tour returns for its 26th year to share with attendees the delectable chef’s specialties Gaslamp restaurants offer. 

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the restaurant industry has been hit hard. Taste of Gaslamp  will highlight the delicacies of participating restaurants.

In efforts to abide by new state mandated laws limiting public gatherings, event organizers have postponed the Taste of Gaslamp to Saturday, August 8.

From 1 p.m. to 4 p.m., diners can enjoy a self-guided tasting tour with savory bites from 25 and more participating restaurants, including both veteran favorites and newly established eateries that have carved out their place in San Diego’s culinary bedrock. 

Tickets for the self-guided Taste of Gaslamp tour begin at just $35 for General Admission and increase to $45 on the day of the event. For the ultimate foodies out there, upgrade to VIP for just $65 ($75 day of) and receive exclusive edible offerings from an additional six restaurants from Gaslamp Quarter’s finest eateries. VIPs will receive signature bite portions and a cocktail at each of the 6 VIP restaurants, a goody bag filled with surprise items from Gaslamp merchants, and an exclusive VIP reception in the Gaslamp Quarter.
