SAN DIEGO–Alaska Airlines launched its first flight to Cancún, Mexico through Cancún International Airport from San Diego International Airport.
The winter seasonal service to Cancún marks the first time San Diego has had nonstop service to this popular destination in over a decade. The airline will begin nonstop service to Fort Lauderdale, Florida, Fort Lauderdale/Hollywood International Airport on November 21. This is the first time Alaska Airlines will offer nonstop service from San Diego to Fort Lauderdale.

New flights to Cancún operate four times weekly until April 12, 2021 providing the region’s leisure travelers a convenient way to get to the popular vacation destination without having to connect or fly from regional hubs.
