San Diego, CA–The Foundation for Allied Health and EMS Education (FAHEE) has been awarded a $9,300 grant by Las Patronas, a philanthropic group based in San Diego.
The grant enabled EMSTA College in Santee to update the medical equipment vital for paramedic student training.
Rick Foehr, Dean of Education at EMSTA College, announced a grant facilitated by FAHEE as a fiscal sponsor and provided by Las Patronas, a renowned San Diego philanthropic organization.
“This grant represents another successful partnership between local nonprofits and educational institutions dedicated to serving our community,” said Foehr.
“The grant’s timing was crucial for EMSTA College, which faced economic challenges and rising operational costs. We are delighted to collaborate with EMSTA College and thankful to Las Patronas for addressing such an essential need,” said Rick Rod, board president of FAHEE.
The foundation’s mission is to acquire and apply resources to enhance the quality of student education and equipment for allied health and EMS training.
Las Patronas, a charitable organization with a legacy of generosity, has contributed $27 million to over a thousand San Diego County charities since 1946. These contributions are the result of year-round fundraising activities, including the Jewel Ball, a significant social, cultural, and philanthropic event in San Diego.
