Del Mar, CA–The San Diego County Fair will feature a diverse and unique lineup of six one-day cultural festivals all included with Fair admission.
The Fair is the region’s largest annual community celebration, and these festivals reflect San Diego County’s array of cultures and communities. The events also allow all fairgoers to enjoy and partake in the festivities, including music, food, education, resources, and traditions of each unique culture.
Asian and Pacific Islander Festival
June 14 – 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. in the Paddock
This festival features traditional and modern performances from Asian and Pacific Islander nations. Asian and Pacific Islander resource groups and immersive educational exhibitions are also part of the festivities.
Native American Heritage Day
June 21 to 11 a.m.-8 p.m. in the Del Mar Arena
Following the success of last year’s inaugural Native American event, the Fair will now feature Native American Heritage Day on June 21. Fair guests can experience Bird Singing, Bird Dancing, and Contest Dancing at this festival, which honors Indigenous cultures. The event will also feature a blessing by Jesse Pinto, a tribal elder of Jamul Indian Village, a welcome from Chairman Curtis La Chusa, of the Mesa Grande Tribe of Mission Indians, and a flag-raising ceremony led by Bobby Wallace, a member of the Barona Band of Mission Indians (a Kumeyaay Nation).
The day of activities will also feature native vendors and provide the opportunity to connect with community outreach organizations dedicated to supporting Indigenous communities.
Out at the Fair
June 21 – 11 a.m.-5 p.m. in the Paddock
The annual LGBTQ+ Pride Month festival — which originated in San Diego and has expanded to other Cities in numerous states — will celebrate diversity and inclusiveness in a fun and festive atmosphere, featuring music, food, games, and entertainment suitable for all ages. The event is open to all, regardless of their background, sexual orientation, or beliefs.
Gospel Music Day at the Fair
June 28 – 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. in the Paddock
The annual Gospel Day traditions continue with a full slate of gospel music and worship in an uplifting and spiritual production.
K-Pop Festival
July 5 – 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. in the Paddock
New to the Fair is this high-energy celebration of Korean pop music. Guests can enjoy dance performances, live music, interactive activities, and K-pop-inspired fashion.
Bluegrass Music Day at the Fair
July 5 – 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Michelob Ultra Avenue Stage
Bluegrass — think square dancing, fiddling, blues, gospel, jazz, and popular music all rolled into one — is back at the San Diego County Fair. Performers of all ages will raise a bow and have a good time with their fellow bluegrass musicians.

The Fair will open on June 11 through July 6, and closed on Mondays and Tuesdays, for a 20-day season. This year’s theme celebrates pets and pet ownership—“Summer Pet-tacular!”
