San Diego, CA–Musician Karina Rykman is scheduled to perform at Winston’s on November 5 as part of a tour celebrating the release of her second studio album, “Late Checkout,” released through Karina Rykman and High Rotation Records.

Rykman will be joined by longtime bandmates Adam November on guitar, loopers and effects, and Chris Corsico on drums, along with an expanded lineup for the tour. The run begins with a hometown headline performance and album release event at New York City’s Webster Hall before continuing with dates through December.

Recorded with longtime collaborator Gabe Monro at Trey Anastasio’s The Barn in Westford, Vermont, and LCD Soundsystem’s DFA Studios, “Late Checkout” showcases Rykman’s diverse musical influences and dynamic sound.

The album features the dreamy, reverb-soaked “Shoegaze Summer,” the reflective “Riverside Drive,” a love letter to the demands of pursuing a music career, the tender “Where You At?” and the darkwave-inspired “Balcony.”

The tracks highlight Rykman’s ability to move between atmospheric melodies, heavy guitar riffs and high-energy arrangements. The album also captures an adventurous approach to music that embraces experimentation and the unpredictability of the creative journey.

Describing the intensity of the album’s sound, Rykman highlighted the contrast between its dreamy atmosphere and forceful instrumentation, with layered riffs building toward an explosive conclusion.

The tour offers fans an opportunity to experience the new material live alongside Rykman’s established catalog, with an expanded band bringing additional depth to the performances.

Winston’s is located at 1921 Bacon Street in San Diego.
