Grammy award-nominated electronic music DJ and producer Audien and multi-platinum alt-pop sibling trio Echosmith have released the official video for their new single, “Favorite Sound,” on Red Music /Cranberry Records.

The video, directed by Drew Kirsch (John Legend, Bryce Vine, Quinn XCII), and co-written with Echosmith lead singer Sydney Sierota, “Favorite Sound” features empowering lyrics backed by a glossy pop-orientated production courtesy of Audien, which led Billboard to describe the song as “melodic gold.” The empowerment anthem is currently #12 on Billboard’s Dance Club Songs chart and has clocked nearly 2 million streams to date.

“This video is an escape from reality, and a really fun juxtaposition to the very true and dark truth of the song,” shares Audien. “The imagery is interesting to us and we think everyone will latch on!”

“The ‘Favorite Sound’ video serves as a reminder that you need to consciously ‘wash out’ the bad stuff (anxiety, depression, sadness etc.) and let it go,” shares Echosmith’s lead singer Sydney Sierota. “You can do that in a lot of different ways, but doing what I love, playing with our band, has always been a great way of doing that for me.”

Audien is widely known for his official remixes of songs by Bastille (“Pompeii”), Bruno Mars (“Treasure”), Halsey (“Colors”), and Nile Rogers (“Kill The Lights”) that have captivated the club and festival circuits around the world. He has topped the Billboard Dance Club charts, headlined major global EDM festivals including Electric Zoo, Tomorrowland, and Lollapalooza, and produced original collaborations with major recording artists Lady Antebellum and MAX. The multifaceted musician currently boasts nearly 2 million monthly listeners on Spotify and has clocked over 270 million streams on the platform alone.

Audien received his big break in in 2014 when he remixed Bastille’s “Pompeii,” which was heavily supported in the club and festival circuits and earned him a Grammy Award nomination for “Best Remixed Recording, Non Classical.” Audien signed to Astralwerks the following year and released his debut EP, Daydreams, which included the hit single “Something Better,” a dance-country crossover hit with superstars Lady Antebellum that marked the first time Audien debuted on the Billboard Top 40 Pop chart after it had already reached #1 on Billboard’s Dance Club Songs chart.

Multi-platinum alt-pop sibling trio Echosmith recently returned with their bold, synth-driven radio single, “Over My Head,” the band’s most evolved sound to date since the Inside A Dream EP, following their breakout success with the debut album Talking Dreams and its triple-platinum hit, “Cool Kids” and double- platinum certified “Bright.”

Since forming in 2009, the Sierotas – Sydney (lead vocals/keyboard), Noah (vocals/bass), and Graham (drums) – have played to crowds of thousands at sold-out shows across the U.S. and Europe and have performed on The Ellen Degeneres Show, The Tonight Show Starring   Jimmy Fallon, The Today Show, Late Night with Seth Meyers, The Late Late Show with James Corden, Conan, and more.

The group is scheduled bring their tour to San Diego on May 3 at Omnia.
