Oceanside, CA–Oceanside Police detectives have arrested three individuals in connection with the murder of 26-year-old Alex Hamilton.
The suspects, identified as Bryan Teater, 31, of Oceanside; Mason Brant, 23, of Vista; and Elijah Marrero, 19, of Vista, were charged with murder on July 18.
The Oceanside Police Department responded to reports of a gunshot victim at a residence on the 1800 block of College Boulevard at 1:10 a.m.
When officers and Oceanside Fire Department personnel arrived at the scene, they found Hamilton with a gunshot wound. Despite their life saving efforts, Hamilton was pronounced dead after being transported to Palomar Hospital.
The Crimes of Violence Unit has been leading the investigation since the incident. Oceanside Police continue to urge anyone with information about the case to come forward.
