Oceanside, CA–Frontwave Arena, the new multi-purpose sports and entertainment venue in Oceanside’s El Corazon Park, is now open.
The 7,500-capacity arena will showcase the best and brightest names in sports, music of all genres, headline comedy, family shows, and community events, starting with the debut dates for the Gold Over America Tour starring Simone Biles, September 16 and 17.

Ushering in a new era of entertainment for San Diego, Frontwave Arena will be a versatile venue that caters to a wide range of sports, entertainment, and community events. The arena will serve as the new home for 16-time champion San Diego Sockers of the Major Arena Soccer League and the newly announced NBA G League San Diego Clippers, as well as host traveling sporting events such as the AVP Beach Volleyball League, International FANCLB Cup – USA vs Mexico, and the greatly-anticipated LA Clippers vs. Brooklyn Nets NBA preseason game on October 8th. Additionally, Frontwave Arena has announced a slew of live music performances including Rock 105.3’s Rocktoberfest, JAM’N 95.7 presents Monsters of Hip Hop, Magic 92.5’s Freestyle Explosion, and KSON Country Christmas. The venue’s Grand Opening Concert featuring multi-platinum recording artists and beloved rock band CAKE, will be held on October 5th in partnership with BellyUp Entertainment.
Frontwave Arena, which cost over $80 million to complete and was privately funded by three groups with North County roots, invested heavily in state-of-the-art design and technology for optimal guest experience. The 170,000 square-foot venue features acoustic absorption insulation throughout the arena bowl to reduce noise, reverberations echoes, and distortions; two high-definition video scoreboards and a 360-degree ribbon board to ensure every audience member can see the content on display; and video production infrastructure that will support broadcast-quality cameras, audio, and data. With a premium lounge and patio capacity of 300 in addition to sixteen premium suites and three VIP viewing decks, Frontwave Arena offers great views at various price points.
