San Diego, CA–Cause San Diego will host its 28th annual Cause Conference on Sept. 24, bringing together leaders from business, government, education and the nonprofit sector to explore how cross-sector collaboration can drive meaningful social change.
This year’s conference, themed “Harnessing the Power of Business and Community to Accelerate Social Impact,” will be held from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Sharp Prebys Innovation and Education Center, 8695 Spectrum Center Blvd. in San Diego.
Organizers say the conference is designed to demonstrate how stronger partnerships between businesses and communities can create lasting social impact. Participants will hear from industry and community leaders while gaining practical strategies to strengthen organizational resilience and expand their long-term impact.
“We are going to restore your faith in humanity, uplift your mindset, and build your organization’s resiliency,” said Staci Reidinger, co-founder of Cause San Diego.
The conference is considered one of San Diego’s leading cross-sector events, attracting CEOs, C-suite executives, nonprofit leaders, government officials, educators and emerging social impact professionals.
Past participants have represented organizations including Patagonia, Dr. Bronner’s, PNC Bank, Chase for Business, The Harris Poll, TCWGlobal, Burnham Center for Community Advancement, the County of San Diego, San Diego State University, the University of San Diego, Pledge 1%, Goodwill Industries of San Diego County, Business For Good San Diego, B Local San Diego, and the YMCA of San Diego County.
