Jicama

Encinitas, CA–Jicama is the pet of the week at Rancho Coastal Humane Society. She’s a 2-1/2-year-old, 51-pound, female, Border Collie mix.

She was a stray dog before being transferred to Rancho Coastal Humane Society through the FOCAS (Friends of County Animal Shelters) program. Jicama is an active dog who needs plenty of physical as well as a mental exercise and a dedicated family.

The $145 adoption fee for Jicama includes a medical exam, spay, up-to-date vaccinations, registered microchip, and a one-year license if her new home is in the jurisdiction of San Diego Humane Society’s Department of Animal Services.
