RANCHO SANTA FE–World renowned fashion designer Zandra Rhodes showcased her unique apparel and style at the first annual “Wiggles and Waggles” fashion show luncheon and fundraiser for Rancho Coastal Humane Society.
The elegant affair was held on February 26 at the Del Mar Country Club in Rancho Santa Fe.
“We’re still pinching ourselves to make sure we’re not dreaming. Fashion designer Zandra Rhodes is recognized worldwide. We’re so thankful that she’s hosting the Wiggles and Waggles fashion show luncheon benefiting your Rancho Coastal Humane Society,” Rancho Coastal Humane Society spokesman John Van Zante said.
Van Zante says that people recognize Rhodes as a fashion designer, but don’t realize that she’s also an animal lover.
“Some of our Rancho Coastal Humane Society supporters got to meet Zandra a few months ago when she was a guest at our Celebration of Second Chances. Zandra learned about all the work we’re doing to help pets and people. Shortly after that she offered to hold the fashion show luncheon benefitting Rancho Coastal Humane Society,” Van Zante said.
The models for Wiggles and Waggles included staff members, volunteers, and even a few pets from the humane society. They wore clothing created by Rhodes.
The Wiggles and Waggles fashion show also featured a silent auction of Rhodes’ scarves, books and other apparel from her personal collection, their team can help finding sylish clothes for you.
