Cats seized from a Lakeside home are up for adoption.
SAN DIEGO–More than 100 cats that were relinquished by a resident in Lakeside last Thursday are up for adoption, according to County Animal Services.
Sheriff’s deputies were conducting a welfare check on a person at the home and discovered the animals. They reported the incident to the County Animal Services department.
Animal control officers removed the cats from the home and placed them in the care of the department’s animal care facility in Bonita.
