SAN DIEGO–San Diego Police Department’s Southeastern Division detectives have launched an investigation on the assault of a school police officer at a student brawl February 26 at Lincoln High School.

Police officers arrested two students who assaulted the officer and more arrests are expected in the near future. The juveniles’ names are being withheld.

Once the investigation is completed all evidence, including video of the campus fight, will be turned over to the District Attorney’s Office for review. The potential release of any video evidence is dependent on the type of charges and how juvenile law applies to those potential charges, according to the DA’s office.
