OCEANSIDE–Oceanside police officers arrested a man Monday morning after he sexually assaulted a woman inside an Airbnb rental home.
About 20 people were inside the home when the 4 a.m. assault occurred in the 800 block of South Pacific Street in Oceanside, according to authorities.
The 24-year-old man allegedly entered the home through an unlocked front door, walked into a closet, undressed and enter the 49-year-old woman’s bedroom and grabbed her. The woman’s screams awoke others in the house, prompting the suspect to run into the closet.
Police officers responded to the scene and took the man into custody.
