VISTA–A 19-year-old male was stabbed several times during a physical altercation early Saturday morning in Vista, according to the Sheriff’s department.
Sheriff’s deputies responded to a 1:20 a.m. report of an assault with a deadly weapon in the 1200 block of North Santa Fe Avenue.
Upon arrival, deputies located the victim with several apparent stab wounds. Paramedics transported the victim to Palomar Hospital where he is listed in critical, but stable condition. His wounds are believed to be non-life threatening.
The investigation is ongoing.
