San Diego, CA–Throughout February, visitors aged 65 and older can enjoy free admission to the San Diego Zoo Safari Park.
Seniors can immerse themselves in the wonders of wildlife with a variety of experiences available through the park’s new Safari Excursions hub. Guests can take a scenic ride on the Africa Tram to see giraffes and rhinos roaming the savanna, explore Walkabout Australia to encounter kangaroos and platypuses, or embark on a Journey into the Wild to learn about diverse species from the Amazon to the American Southwest. They can also unwind with refreshments at Kijamii Overlook, offering stunning views of the park.
To receive free entry, seniors must present a valid photo ID at the turnstiles. Please note that parking is not included, and some special experiences may require an additional fee.
Spanning 1,800 acres, the San Diego Zoo Safari Park is home to more than 3,000 animals representing over 300 species. The park features expansive savanna habitats where animals roam in mixed-species herds, as well as a world-class botanical garden with over 1.3 million plants from more than 3,700 species. Visitors can enjoy exciting safari adventures while supporting the San Diego Zoo Wildlife Alliance in its global conservation efforts.
