San Diego Central Library

SAN DIEGO–For the second year in a row, the San Diego Central Library will host an event bringing together community organizations to share resources on the topic of mental health.

Fitting with the San Diego Public Library’s mission to inspire lifelong learning through connections to knowledge and each other, the Mental Health Resource Fair on Tuesday, March 19 raises awareness of the challenges surrounding mental illness.

According to the National Alliance on Mental Illness, approximately one in five adults in the United States experiences mental illness in a given year. Funding for the Mental Health Resource Fair is provided by the California State Library’s Mental Health Initiative which aims to support libraries in the effort to provide mental health education.

The event is free and open to the public. To view the full schedule, visit sandiego.gov/mentalhealthfair.
