KFC restaurants nationwide are expected to begin serving Coca-Cola products in 2027 as the fast-food chain expands its beverage offerings and works to attract more customers.
KFC U.S. announced a new partnership with the Coca-Cola Co., marking another step in the restaurant chain’s effort to refresh its menu, expand its beverage options and improve the customer experience.
The transition is scheduled to begin in January 2027, with Coca-Cola products expected to be available at all KFC restaurants in the United States by spring 2027.
“I’m incredibly excited to bring KFC and Coca-Cola together. These are two originals, with deep consumer love,” said Catherine Tan-Gillespie, president of KFC U.S.
Tan-Gillespie said the partnership extends beyond beverages and supports the company’s broader strategy to strengthen its restaurants, evolve its menu and create a more relevant experience for customers.
Dagmar Boggs, president of foodservice and on-premise for North America at The Coca-Cola Co., said the partnership brings the two brands together nationally for the first time.
The companies plan to combine KFC’s signature food with Coca-Cola’s beverage portfolio to develop food-and-drink pairings, expand customer choices and create new dining experiences. The partnership also is expected to support opportunities to attract customers for family meals, snacks and individual beverage purchases.
Coca-Cola’s distribution network and operational capabilities will help support KFC restaurants across the country, according to the announcement.
The agreement comes as KFC continues to expand its beverage offerings and explore new dining occasions. The company recently introduced a range of drinks at Open House, its innovation restaurant in McKinney, Texas. The lineup includes iced coffees, boba drinks, shakes and other specialty beverages designed to give customers more options.
KFC has been exploring beverage innovations in several global markets as part of its efforts to respond to changing consumer preferences and encourage more frequent restaurant visits.
The Coca-Cola partnership and expanded beverage lineup are part of the company’s broader “Kentucky Fried Comeback” strategy, which aims to strengthen the brand and create new opportunities for growth.
Both companies said the collaboration is intended to build on their established brands while delivering new food-and-beverage combinations and experiences for customers.
