San Diego, CA–Women Of Wrestling (WOW), the all-female sports entertainment brand, is set to debut at San Diego Comic-Con International with its inaugural panel presentation on July 26.
The panel, titled “WOW – Women Of Wrestling – Bringing WOW Superheroes To Life” will take place on July 26 from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. in Room 6DE at the San Diego Convention Center.
WOW co-owners Jeanie Buss and David McLane will join Coach Campanelli and Genesis, as they discuss the importance of the rise of female representation in professional sports, the influence of comics on pro wrestling, and a preview of season three of “WOW – Women Of Wrestling.”
Fans can meet David McLane, Coach Campanelli, and Genesis at an autograph signing session from 12:30 to 1:15 p.m. in Room 33C. They will receive an exclusive limited edition WOW poster for the signing.
Buss, controlling owner and president of the Los Angeles Lakers, and founder of Gorgeous Ladies of Wrestling (GLOW), has been named by ESPN as “quite possibly the most powerful woman in all of sports.” As a child, comic book characters such as Wonder Woman and Supergirl captivated Buss. Today, she intends to empower women and engage fans by introducing them to the World of WOW, where women are the stars and fight their own battles. For Buss, WOW represents a whole new universe of modern-day, real-life superheroes.
