LA JOLLA–Birch Aquarium at Scripps Institution of Oceanography, UC San Diego announced an update to the 2018 Green Flash Concert Series season line-up.

The Wild Child performance originally scheduled for May 16 has been replaced by Jumping Jack Flash, a Rolling Stones Tribute band.

Each summer, Birch Aquarium transforms its Tide Pool Plaza into an outdoor music venue unlike any other for The Green Flash Concert Series. These lively summer concerts, presented in partnership with 101. 5 KGB and Belly Up Entertainment, provide the ultimate Southern California music experience while supporting a good cause.

Named for the rare optical phenomenon caused by the refraction of light as the sun sets on the horizon — which is often visible during the concerts — the Green Flash concert series combines live music with panoramic ocean views, stunning sunsets and admission to Birch Aquarium.
