Descanso, CA–A woman’s body was found near the intersection of State Route 79 and Wildwood Glen Lane on Wednesday morning, the Sheriff’s Office confirmed.
Deputies responded to the scene around 10:37 a.m. and located a deceased individual. While no immediate signs of foul play were evident, the Sheriff’s Homicide Unit was contacted to ensure a thorough investigation.
The victim has been identified as a 29-year-old white female. Her name is being withheld pending notification of next of kin. The Medical Examiner’s Office conducted an autopsy on Thursday, but the cause and manner of death remain under investigation.
