Suspicious death under investigation in East County

By SDCN Editor

Spring Valley, CA–The Sheriff’s Department is investigating the suspicious death of a woman found unresponsive in her residence in East County on Monday.

Around 7:45 a.m., Sheriff’s Court Services Deputies responded to the 3900 block of Conrad Drive in Spring Valley to serve civil process documents.

When they arrived, deputies discovered 55-year-old Pamela Williams unresponsive with signs of trauma to her body. Paramedics responded to the scene and transported her to a hospital. Despite life-saving efforts, she passed away in the afternoon.

Sheriff’s homicide investigators are working to gather more information to determine the circumstances surrounding her death. The investigation is ongoing.

The cause and manner of death will be determined by the Medical Examiner’s Office.
