San Diego, CA–The San Diego County Employees’ Charitable Organization (CECO) community grants period is open to nonprofit organizations serving San Diego County.
The organization said the deadline to apply for the grants is November 14.
CECO is fully funded through County employee and retirees’ contributions with 100% of donations going to local nonprofit programs and County employees in need.
Since its founding in 1956, the organization has distributed more than $7 million to nonprofits. These grants help enhance services and develop new programs that benefit the region.
This year, CECO awarded $81,507 to 58 nonprofit programs across the county. These community-based organizations address various needs—from health services and education to community and other services.
The community grants fund tangible goods—such as equipment, furnishings, and other items that directly support the people served by nonprofit organizations.
Nonprofits can view examples of eligible funding requests and access the 2025 grant application and instructions at sdceco.org.
