San Marcos, CA–Two people riding an e-bike were injured Monday evening in a collision with a vehicle in San Marcos, authorities said.
The incident occurred just before 6:30 p.m. at the intersection of South Santa Fe Avenue and North Las Flores Drive, according to the San Marcos Sheriff’s Station.
Deputies said both riders, a juvenile and an adult, sustained non-life-threatening injuries and were transported to local hospitals for treatment.
The individuals involved in the collision remained at the scene and cooperated with the investigators. Alcohol and drugs are not believed to be factors in the crash.
