OCEANSIDE–The City of Oceanside’s Neighborhood Services Department is conducting a Women’s Sun, Surf, and Soccer Tournament on August 14 at Martin Luther King Jr. Park in Oceanside. This tournament will benefit Oceanside Parks and Recreation Youth Programs.
The tournament format will be 6-on-6 and the games will be played on 40 x 60 yard fields using six foot goals. The entry fee is $280 per team. The games are 30 minutes long and each team is guaranteed to play 4 games. There are three age divisions and teams may only play in one age division: 21 and older, 30 and older, or 40 and older. Rosters are limited to 12 players. Prizes will be awarded to the first and second place teams in each age division. Space is limited.
