ESCONDIDO–A female body was found on an embankment just off a roadway in unincorporated Escondido, homicide detectives said Thursday.
Deputies responded to a 2 p.m. call of a deceased adult female near the 27600 block of Champagne Boulevard.
The Medical Examiner’s Office will determine the cause and manner of death.
