CARLSBAD–A man was arrested in connection with the death of a woman found in an apartment in Carlsbad on Tuesday, according to the Carlsbad Police Department.
At approximately 11:23 a.m., Carlsbad Police Department received a 911 call about a death that occurred in an apartment in the 2500 block of West Ranch Street in Carlsbad.
Upon arrival, officers located a 40-year-old deceased female in the apartment.
Brehon Quigley, a 44-year-old male co-occupant of the apartment was arrested and booked into the Vista Detention Facility on one count of homicide. He is being held without bail.
The identification of the victim is being withheld pending notification of the next of kin by the San Diego County Medical Examiner’s Office.
The investigation is ongoing.
