Woman found dead in Encinitas home identified

October 12, 2019 By sdcnews

ENCINITAS–The San Diego County Medical Examiner’s Office released the name of a woman found dead October 8 in her Encinitas home.

The deceased victim has been identified as 43-year-old Sabrina Lukosky of Encinitas. The Medical Examiner ruled the victim’s death as a homicide.

Lukosky had been reported as a missing person to the Sheriff’s Department on October 3.

The Sheriff’s Department received a call from a resident in the 1200 block of Summit Ave. about a foul odor smell in the  area. Deputies checked the area and noticed the smell. They conducted an investigation and obtained a warrant to search the residence. They checked the main residence and a smaller structure located to the rear of the main residence. Inside the smaller structure, they found the body of a female  adult.

Homicide detectives are continuing their investigation of the incident.
