RAMONA–Winery members of the Ramona Valley Vineyard Association will kick off the Ramona Valley Wine Country Summer of Wine with extended tasting days and unique experiences over the Memorial Day Weekend, May 26 to 29.
As part of the summer kick-off, participating wineries will offer tastes of their wines at individual winery pricing. In addition, they have selected special unique offerings and tastings, such as, discounts to veterans and active military; donation of sales to Shelter to Soldiers; two-for-one tastings; barrel samples offered by the winemaker; educational talk on living with coyotes; art and wine class; Sangria contests; music—including a Civil War drum—and a variety of discounts.
This year’s participating wineries are: Hatfield Creek Vineyards and Winery; La Finquita Winery and Vineyard; Lenora Winery; Mahogany Mountain Vineyard and Winery; Pamo Valley Winery; Poppaea; Principe di Tricase Winery; Ramona Ranch Vineyard and Winery; Turtle Rock Ridge Vineyard and Winery; Vineyard Grant James Vineyard and Winery; Woof’n Rose Winery.
In addition, guests who mention the Summer of Wine Kick Off when booking a limo tour with Wright Trammel Transportation (WTT), will receive a fourth winery added at no additional charge ($30 value).
