CAMP PENDLETON–The Camp Pendleton Fire Department and fire fighting resources from approximately 50 state, federal and local fire departments will be conducting annual training from June 7 through 11.
The week-long session involves “live fire” scenarios and serves as a vital, “hands-on” training opportunity. The wildland fire training provides valuable experience for improving performance during actual emergency situations.
Controlled burns will be conducted in the eastern portion of the base and smoke will be visible throughout the Northern San Diego County area.
