San Diego police are seeking a suspect wanted for assault with a deadly weapon. Investigators said on February 20 at about midnight, a fight broke out inside the Lamp Lighter Bar at 817 W. Washington Avenue.
During the fight, a male from the crowd threw a glass that struck the victim in the left side of the face. The victim received multiple lacerations from the incident and continues to suffer long term vision problems and will require future cosmetic surgery.
The suspect is a White male, approximately 30-35 years old, about 5’10” to 6’ tall with dark brown hair. He was wearing a blue striped long sleeve shirt. The suspect was seen with a white female companion; possibly his spouse.
Investigators are asking anyone with information on the identity and or location of the person responsible for this crime to call San Diego County Western Division at (619) 692-4800 or the Crime Stoppers anonymous tip line at (888) 580-8477.
