SAN DIEGO–Effective July 1, Oster and Associates employees Tyler Schirado and Aryana Aguiar will assume leadership roles on the Ad2 board of directors for the 2015-2016 term.
Schirado will serve as Programs Co-Chair, providing event planning, coordination and publicity for the young professionals’ club. As an account executive at Oster and Associates, Schirado has been involved in Ad2 since 2013 and is no stranger to event support both in his role at Oster and previously; he planned events for extracurricular clubs when he was a student at Bradley University in Illinois. He has been at Oster and Associates since January 2012.
“I’m excited to bring new faces into Ad2,” said Schirado. “I hope to inspire more young professionals to get involved through interactive and appealing events.”
Aguiar has been elected as Public Service Co-Chair for the upcoming term. Each year Ad2 selects a nonprofit organization to assist through pro-bono marketing efforts. Aguiar will help lead a six-person committee to develop and execute the marketing campaign. An account executive at Oster and Associates since June 2014, Aguiar has been involved in Ad2 and on the public service committee since October 2014.
“I’m looking forward to working with a new non-profit, supporting its cause and raising the bar for its marketing efforts through an organized approach,” said Aguiar.
Ad 2 San Diego is a professional organization for up-and-coming marketing and advertising professionals. As the junior chapter of SDX (San Diego Ad Club), Ad2’s members are 32 years or younger.
