Two Men Attacked, Stabbed In Fallbrook

May 3, 2016 By sdcnews

FALLBROOK–Two men were attacked and one stabbed by several males near an apartment complex in the unincorporated area of Fallbrook.

On May 2., Sheriff  deputies responded to a radio call of two males that had been stabbed on the street near the apartment complex located at 1204 South Vine Street.

The victims, Juan Campos 20, and Francisco Jesus, 22 were attacked and stabbed by unknown Hispanic males. Campos and Jesus were walking through the apartment complex when they were confronted by 4 to 6 unknown Hispanic males standing near an older white Honda Civic at the entrance to the apartment parking lot. The men were wearing dark clothing, hoodies and a couple of them had bandanas around their faces. The group exchanges heated words with Campos and Jesus before they attacked them. Jesus was stabbed once near the entrance before running with Campos to the back of the apartment complex. Several of the males chased them to the rear of the apartment complex. Campos was attacked again and stabbed once before the subjects fled the scene. A witness observed an older white Honda Civic quickly accelerating with the vehicle lights out heading southbound on South Vine Street.

Campos and Jesus were transported by North County Fire Department to Palomar Hospital for treatment of their injuries.

Deputies conducted a witness check and searched for crime scenes. The investigation is on-going.
