Two Males Rob, Attempt Kidnapping Of Female Pedestrian

October 5, 2015 By sdcnews

SPRING VALLEY–Police officers are searching for two male suspects who robbed and tried to kidnap a female pedestrian.

Officers say the pedestrian was walking on the sidewalk near the 900 block of Gillespie Drive in Spring Valley when a vehicle pulled up alongside her and stopped. Two male suspects got out of the car and attempted to force the woman into their vehicle. The woman fought back against the suspects and they were unsuccessful in kidnapping her. The suspects forcibly removed the victim’s purse and got back into their vehicle, fleeing from the scene. The vehicle was last seen northbound on Gillespie Drive near the intersection of Orville Street.

One of the suspects was described as a black male adult, approximately 20 to 25 years-old, approximately five feet, eight inches tall, and weight 150 pounds. He has a shaved head. The second suspect was described as an unknown race male. The suspect vehicle was described as a white sedan, possibly a Chevrolet Impala, with black windows.

The Sheriff’s Department is asking anyone who may have witnessed the incident, or who may have information on the suspects or their vehicle to contact the Rancho San Diego Sheriff’s Station at (619)660-7090. Anyone with information about this case can also call the Sheriff’s Department non-emergency line at (858)565-5200. You can remain anonymous and be eligible for up to a $1,000 reward for information leading to an arrest. Call Crime Stoppers at (888)580-8477.
