CARLSBAD–Two Carlsbad men were attacked outside their home Saturday by two unidentified males.
Carlsbad police were dispatched to the 2700 block of Naples to investigate a vandalism and an assault with a deadly weapon. The victims told the officers they were in their residence and heard the front window break. One of the suspects yell for everyone to come out and both victims exited the residence and confronted the two suspects, a white or Hispanic male and a unknown white male in their 20s
Police spokesman Sergeant Mickey Williams says one on the suspects struck both victims with what the victims believed was a metal object. The suspects then left the area in an unknown type of vehicle.
The victims sustained minor injuries and declined medical treatment. Officers searched the area for the suspects, but were unable to locate them.
