Oceanside, CA–North County Transit – San Diego Railroad will expand the Coaster service with 70 additional trips for the 2025 San Diego Padres Season.
Taking the Coaster to Petco Park is a convenient and safe way to travel to and from Petco Park on game day. Fans can avoid parking hassles, skip traffic, and enjoy a stress-free ride with coastal views. With reliable service and multiple departure times, riders can easily plan their game-day travel on Coaster.
“NCTD and the Padres have a shared goal to create the best possible gameday experience for fans. For us, that starts the minute you board our amazing trains operated by the world’s best transit employees,” said NCTD Chief Executive Officer Shawn M. Donaghy. “The Coaster is the best way to get to Petco Park – we’re here for every home game from opening weekend to a world championship!”
Throughout the season, NCTD will provide additional Coaster service to cover all your bases after the game. Coaster 699 will depart from Santa Fe Depot Platform 1 one hour after the conclusion of the game, firework show, or special event.
Parking is free at most Coaster stations, and fans can transfer for free to the Metropolitan Transit System (MTS) Trolley with the purchase of a Coaster Regional Pass.
Fans riding the Coaster should remember that alcohol consumption is not allowed on Coaster trains.
