SAN DIEGO–A vehicle that struck and severely injured a female bicyclist on September 17 was located in San Diego.
Witnesses described the vehicle as being a dark blue, small compact or sub-compact car with front bumper and hood damage. The passenger side rear view mirror was left at the scene.
A female bicyclist was struck by the vehicle on 2700 Clairemont Drive, west of Galveston Street. The woman was riding eastbound in the bike lane and was struck by a vehicle traveling in the same direction. The driver of the vehicle did not stop.
The investigation is still on-going.
