Three People Arrested For Bicycle Theft, Drug Possession

ENCINITAS–As part of an investigation of high-end bicycle thefts in north San Diego County coastal cities, detectives of the North Coastal Sheriff’s Station served a search warrant at the Royal Motel in the 1400 block of North Coast Highway 101 in Encinitas.

Three arrests were made, and various high-end bicycles, bike frames, and expensive components were seized along with methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia.

Encinitas residents Jeffrey Scott Stevenson, 60 and Emiko Nishida Sanderson, 54 were arrested for possession of a controlled substance for sale and possession of drug paraphernalia. Sanderson also had a misdemeanor arrest warrant. Encinitas resident Billie Dee Estoque, 55, a convicted felon, was arrested for possession of a firearm, possession of a controlled substance without a prescription, and possession of drug paraphernalia.

There will be a display of the bicycles and other seized items on July 9 at 9 a.m., at the San Diego County Sheriff’s Crime Lab located at 5255 Mt. Etna Drive in San Diego.
