TEMECULA–Temecula artist Gabriele Baber will have three collections of work on display in Old Town Temecula and at the library on Pauba.
The display, “En Plein Sight, and more works” will open Sept. 9 through Oct. 3 at the Gallery in the Merc, 42051 Main Street in Fallbrook. An artist reception will be held this Friday from 5: 30 to 7:30 p.m.
This collection is comprised of mostly “Plein air” works of Temecula Valley, as well as a variety of southern California scenes. Plein air paintings are those that have been completed on sight, rather than studio paintings.
Lorimar Winery, next to the Merc Theater on Main Street, will feature Baber’s artwork through September. There will be a “Meet and Greet” with the artist at 6:30 p.m. on Sept. 10. There will be entertainment and refreshments.
The Library on Pauba will feature Baber’s larger works, inspired by Temecula Valley. The paintings will be on display through September.
