OCEANSIDE–Upon popular demand, Aaron Lloyd Klein once again returns with Symphony of Bipolar, a original take on mental illness, to Sunshine Brooks Theater.
This is a bipolar disorder themed event, which combines music, song, and medical lecture, and touches subjects of mood through art, mood manifestations. See scenes of mania, scenes of despair. Hear songs of illness, songs of life. Listen to the notes that linger on like a winter melancholy, notes that carry one away to a safe place. Learn, laugh, and cry.
This is a powerful story of transformation. The presentation will help the audience understand it is possible for people with disabilities to lead healthy and meaningful lives. It is a story of ego and esteem, arrogance, and confidence, entitlement, and purpose, death, immortality of spirit, love and nurturing. It is a story that will reach the inner child.
The audience will learn there is more to bipolar disorder than just mood swings or “ups and downs“. During the evening Aaron Klein you will show how to identify triggers which cause emotional upsets, as well as manage mood swings with changes in sleep, diet, exercise, and environment. You will learn about side effects of popular prescription drugs to treat this disorder, and natural therapies now available. You will be able to help care for a loved one or family member with simple guidelines as well as recognize when hospitalization may be in order. The presentation is done in an insightful, loving, and humorous way.
