SAN DIEGO–Crime Stoppers and investigators from the San Diego County Sheriff’s Department’s Poway station are asking for assistance from the public to help identify and locate unknown suspects wanted in connection with a series of residential burglaries.
Detectives said that seven residential burglaries have taken place in Poway between May 8 and June 6. The burglars enter the homes through unlocked windows and, in one case, an unlocked front door. They target jewelry, prescription medications, cash and computer equipment like laptops, e-readers and Ipods.
The burglaries have occurred on either, Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays or Thursdays between 8:00 a.m. and 5:30 p.m. with the highest probability between 10:30 a.m. and noon.
Six of the seven cases have occurred within a four-square-mile-area. They include the 14000 block of Old Station Rd. 14700 block of Kalapana St.; 14300 block of Carnitas St. 16400 block of Bridlewood Rd.; 15200 block of Crestview Ct. 12400 block of Schaler Dr. and 13400 block of Calle Colina.
