Suspect Sought In “Upskirt Photo” Incident

July 4, 2012 By sdcnews

SAN DIEGO–Detectives are searching for the suspect involved in an “upskirt photo” incident that occurred last week in a Kearny Mesa variety store.

On June 27 at about 3:30 p.m., while shopping at a Kearny Mesa variety store, a female felt something touching her leg. When she turned around, she saw a male kneeling behind her, holding a cellular phone under her dress. The female confronted the male and he turned and ran away. The female yelled for help and chased the male. A store employee also chased the male, but he fled the store.

The suspect is described as a white or Hispanic male, 25 to 35 years of age. He is 5’8” to 5’10” with a medium build. He wore a white T-shirt and black knee-length shorts. He has dark hair that was combed straight back and is clean-shaven.

Anyone with information concerning this case is asked to contact the San Diego Police Department’s Eastern Division at (858) 495-7900, or San Diego County Crime Stoppers at (888) 580-8477.
